Chapter 11, Shelby Warner

Son of Shelby and Roena Warner

This painting for me was one I could relate to because the selection of the artist’s palette, as a symbol, is near and dear to my heart. So many times I have found comfort and expression through my art. I never knew Shelby Warner, but I could imagine that when he couldn’t tell anyone about how sad he was, he could find comfort in his palette. When he wanted to show his joy for each new day, he could find expression through his art. Being creative satisfies the divine part of our being. I’m sure Shelby found great moments through his art.  – Wayne Taylor
