AnnaBeth Burnett’s angel from the beginning was designed to include a special drawing which had been named the Rainbow Cat. This image had become AnnaBeth’s own special symbol because it was created by AnnaBeth. The childlike colors and composition added great personal meaning to this painting. My goal was to recreate this original design in oils that would work withing the style of the overall painting, which is less distinct, yet retain the overall quality of the piece.  – Wayne Taylor
