Peggy and Denis O’Connor are depicted as loving brother and sister angels. This painting was completed near the end of the project. I continued to think about how I would arrange them on the canvas to show them as individuals and family.  I thought of the older more protective brother who would be there for his sister and the sweetness of the little sister who appreciates the comfort of being with him. I also wanted the painting to bring comfort to the parents who realize that even though the family is separated, somehow, somewhere, they are still together.  -- Wayne Taylor
