Three roses at the bottom of a rainbow, even though I didn’t understand the significance of these symbols, the visual images that these ideas bring inspired me to try and paint hope and beauty. The sweet smell of roses, the freshness of the air after a rain, and the exciting display of a colorful rainbow are all wonderful reminders of the how our children enrich our lives. I’m sure there are many other ways that these symbols represent Myra Stamper. I hope that my painting brings comfort to her family.  -- Wayne Taylor
